Warranty Terms

Most items we sell have at least a one year warranrty

Automotive and marine gas injectors

This section pertains to your injectors you sent in for us to replair.
-Florida Injection Service warrants our injector repair work on top feed gas injectors to be free from defects for a period of one year. We will re-clean your injectors once within one year of the original work for free even if it is your fault.
-If an injector we cleaned fails mechanically, we can supply one if we have one at a discounted cost.

Automotive and light truck diesel injectors

-Florida Injection Service warrants our injector repair work on diesel injectors for a period of two years. EXCLUSIONS include improper installation, using non-recommended fuel additives, contaminated fuel or any disassembly or attempted repairs.
-Year one warranty replacement is at 100% of original cost. Year two warranty replacement is at 50% of original cost.
-Example 1: If you return an injector to us in the 6th month wanting us to warranty the injector. We will test it to determine if there was a failure and how it failed. If the injector is within spec., meaning a faulty diagnosis, you will be charged a testing fee. If the injector has failed due to a material defect not caused by one of the exclusions, we will warranty 100% of the cost of a replacement injector. If the failure is due to one of the excluded conditions, the injector is not warrantied and you will pay 100% of the cost.
-Example 2: If you return an injector to us in the 18th month wanting us to warranty the injector. We will test it to determine if there was a failure and how it failed. If the injector is within spec., meaning a faulty diagnosis, you will be charged a testing fee. If the injector has failed due to a material defect not caused by one of the exclusions, you will only owe 50% of the cost of a replacement injector. If the failure is due to one of the excluded conditions, the injector is not warrantied and you will pay 100% of the cost.

Diesel Injection Pumps

-Florida Injection Service warrants our Diesel Injection Pump repair work for a period of two years. EXCLUSIONS include improper installation, using non-recommended fuel additives, contaminated fuel or any disassembly or attempted repairs. You must remove all old fuel from the fuel tank and flush all the fuel lines for the warranty to apply.
-Year one warranty replacement is at 100% of original cost. Year two warranty replacement is at 50% of original cost.
-Example 1: If you return a pump to us in the 6th month wanting us to warranty the pump. We will test it to determine if there was a failure and how it failed. If the pump is within spec., meaning a faulty diagnosis, you will be charged a testing fee. If the pump has failed due to a material defect not caused by one of the exclusions, we will warranty 100% of the cost of a replacement pump. If the failure is due to one of the excluded conditions, the pump is not warrantied and you will pay 100% of the cost.

New Parts

This section pertains to new parts you purchased.
-Florida Injection Service warrants our new parts to be free from manufacturer defects for a period of one year.
-Some race only parts do not have a warranty and are labled "no warranty". We do not warrant the suitability of any part for any application.

Used Parts

This section pertains to used parts you purchased.
-Florida Injection Service warrants our used parts to be as represented at the time of sale.
-We do not warrant the suitability of any part for any application.

In our experience, 90% of failed injectors fail due to water in the fuel. 10% fail due to high mileage or a failed pump.
